Best Guacamole Recipe

This easy and delicious snack makes the best guacamole recipe. It goes great with my 5 Minutes to Mexico Recipe and my Easy Pulled Pork, Rice and Beans! Full of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and good fat, it makes a great healthy snack, too. Healthy eating made doable and delicious – gotta love it!

Best Guacamole - Ever!
Guacamole takes 5-10 minutes to make, and just as little time to eat when it's good. This guacamole never lasts, so you may need to make more than 2 avocados at a time!
Recipe type: Appetizer, Sides
  • 2 avocados (Haas preferable), ripe
  • 6 tbsp. red onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp. cilantro, minced
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • ½ tsp. lime zest
  • ¾ tsp. sea salt
  • dash cayenne pepper, (to taste)
  1. Dice the onion, mince the cilantro, and juice and zest the lime.
  2. Set aside.
  1. Remove the editable insides of the avocado.
  2. Mash up in a mixing bowl.
  1. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl.
  2. Mix until desired consistency and taste is achieved.
I like guacamole with small chunks so I mash it by hand. If you like is whipped or super smooth, blend just the avocado or all ingredients in a food processor. Copyright Nourishment Connection 2011
