Overnight Apple Almond Oats Recipe

  • 1/3 cup rolled or quick oats gluten-free oats are available
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk or rice, soy, low fat animal milk if allergic to nuts
  • 1/3 cup applesauce unsweetened
  • 1/3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp fresh nutmeg
  • 2-3 tsp chia seeds
  • Chopped almonds and diced apples to top oats


  • Put all of the ingredients in a 1-cup jar and shake.
  • Stir to make sure you get everything mixed up.
  • Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. They get creamier if they sit overnight.
  • When you wake up, sit them on the counter to warm up (or heat up for 1-2 minutes).
  • Top with chopped almonds and apples.
